Introduction
We built this 640mm, 2600W carbon fiber heating lamp for one reason: to give industrial dryers the kind of heat that’s fast, steady, and doesn’t take up a ton of space. It’s a direct-fit replacement for drying lines where room is tight and you need temperature control you can count on, day after day. If your dryer has to ramp up quickly and hold that output without fuss, this lamp brings the power density to make it happen.
Power, voltage, and size—kept practical
We made it 640mm long and rated at 2600W because that’s what fits the most common dryer chambers. So you can swap it in without reworking the whole machine. The power is packed into a small footprint, which means two things: it heats up fast, and it recovers quickly after door openings or product changes. That said, it’s a high-output lamp, so your airflow and thermal management need to be up to the task. If you can move the heat effectively, you get the performance. If you can’t, the chamber temperature will climb.
What’s inside—and why it matters
The core uses carbon fiber elements inside a quartz envelope. Carbon fiber handles rapid heating and cooling far better than traditional wire elements, so you get fewer hot spots and more stable resistance over time. The quartz envelope keeps the heat where you want it and holds up to the rough conditions inside a dryer. For the hookup, it’s built for standard industrial connectors, so it’s a straightforward drop-in. The terminal layout is clean, and the contacts are designed to stay secure—less trouble from vibration and the natural expansion and contraction that comes with heat.
How it feels when it’s running
In a dryer, the whole point is moving heat into the product quickly and evenly. This lamp delivers high-intensity infrared energy that penetrates surfaces and speeds up moisture removal—especially useful in thin-film drying and pre-treatment stages. Because it’s compact, you can keep the heat close to the target without having to redesign the chamber to make room. And the carbon fiber build means less element sag over time, so performance stays predictable between maintenance cycles. Just plan for proper cooling and mounting clearances. This lamp performs best when the system around it is set up to work with it.
