Power, Voltage, and Size—What You Need to Know
Here’s the heart of it: a compact powerhouse. A typical unit runs at 400V and 2500W, packing a serious punch into a small space. The 300mm tube length focuses that heat, so you can match the heat zone to the shape of your part. And the high voltage? It’s a clever move. It means you need less current to get the same power, so you can use smaller wiring and avoid voltage drops, even on long production lines. But with that kind of power packed into a short tube, you get intense, localized heat. So, you need to make sure your machine’s cooling and thermal management are ready for it.
Inside the Design: The Materials That Make It Work
At the core, you’ve got a carbon filament, snug inside a quartz envelope, often filled with halogen. The halogen cycle is the unsung hero here—it keeps the envelope clean by sending evaporated material back to the filament. This keeps the output steady and extends the lamp’s life. Quartz is the perfect material for the job, too. It lets infrared energy through with no problem and handles the shock of heating up and cooling down, over and over. We also added a reflective coating on the back of the tube. It catches heat that would otherwise go to waste and throws it forward, boosting the usable energy. And for the connections, we went with an R7s connector. It’s simple, sturdy, and makes the lamp a straightforward drop-in replacement for your existing fixtures.
