Why we use carbon fiber Most halogen lamps rely on gas-filled quartz to make light and heat. We do things differently. Our tubes use far infrared (FIR) radiation. It’s a different kind of heat—one that penetrates deeper. To keep the element from oxidizing, we wrap it in a high-purity quartz sleeve. One of the best parts? Carbon fiber doesn’t sag. Even when it’s glowing hot, it keeps its shape. That’s huge because if the element shifts, you get hot spots. And hot spots lead to burnt products. A few things to keep in mind You can plug these into most industrial controllers, but don’t slack on your wiring. A 2600W load is no joke. Use the right gauge wire so you don’t run into voltage drops at the terminals. Also, a word of caution: these things are powerful, but they’re fragile. One clumsy move during installation and you’ll crack the quartz. Just make sure your mounting brackets aren’t squeezing the glass. And one last tip—check your cooling fans.
