Let’s talk power. The standard setup is a 400V, 2500W lamp. That kind of punch is perfect for high-density heating. It gets up to operating temperature fast—really fast—but it does put a load on your electrical system. So you need to make sure your wiring and control gear can handle the current. Size matters, too. We stick with a 300mm tube length because it’s a sweet spot. It fits neatly into existing equipment without taking up too much space, giving you a focused heating zone. And the 10mm tube diameter keeps the profile nice and low, so it slips into compact spots without a fight.
What’s Inside and Why It Works
The quartz glass isn’t just a shell. It’s built to take the shock of rapid on-off cycling without cracking. That’s huge when you’re running a busy floor. Inside, the carbon fiber element throws off infrared in the long and medium wave spectrum. This is the kind of heat that gets into materials and warms them from the inside out—clean, efficient, and predictable. We use an R7s connector because it’s practical. It’s a double-ended, high-current connection that’s easy to wire and easy to keep in good shape. The contact stays solid, which cuts down on arcing and burnout, even when the lamp is running nonstop.

These lamps were born for real industrial work—think PET blowing and plastic welding. The carbon fiber element responds quickly and spreads heat evenly, which keeps your product quality consistent. And because it’s built to last, you’ll spend less time on maintenance and more time on production. Now, a heads-up: running a 2500W lamp at 400V puts out a lot of ambient heat. Your machine enclosure needs proper ventilation or cooling. If you don’t manage that heat, other components can overheat and the whole system can suffer. So plan for thermal management right from the start.
