What’s Inside: Halogen, Quartz, and a Smart Connection
Inside the quartz tube, the halogen cycle keeps the filament stable. In plain terms, material that evaporates gets put back where it belongs—instead of blackening the tube wall. The quartz tube itself can handle high temps and takes thermal shock well, but it still needs protection where it’s handled and wired. So we use a coated outer surface. It’s a standard two-pin end-cap style, so installation is straightforward and mechanically secure. It drops right into many industrial heater layouts, which helps you get running faster on the shop floor.
